Fifty Pakistani nationals who were stranded in Sri Lanka due the airport closures in the wake of the COVID-19 crisis left Colombo this morning.

Their return was facilitated by the Pakistan High Commission in  Colombo which coordinated with the Government of Pakistan and Sri Lankan Authorities to repatriate its nationals.

Deputy High Commissioner Tanvir Ahmad was present on behalf of the High Commissioner to see off the departing Pakistani nationals at the Bandaranaike International Airport, Colombo, a news release form the High Commission said.
